It is one kind of sulfate glycosaminoglycan sodium extracted from healthy porcine or bovine intestinal mucosa. It is mucopolysaccharide material and has the function of prolonging blood clotting time.

Properties: it is white or mostly white amorphous powder. It is soluble easily in water.

Main Specification:

CP2010: it is considered as dry good. Regard to crude product, the potency of each gram is not less than 80 units. Regard to fine product, the potency of each gram should no less than 150 units. The specific rotation should no less than 35 degree. PH value should be 5.0 to 7.5. Viscosity should no more than 0.030 Pa.s. Loss on drying should no more than 5.0%. Residue on ignition should be 28.0% - 41.0%. Total nitrogen should be 1.3% - 2.5%. Heavy metal should not exceed 30 ppm. Potency should be 91% - 110% of the labeled amount.
